Where Oral and Behavioral Health Meet

42 Oral health is increasingly becoming a focus of health care providers — including those who specialize in behavioral health. Being able to recognize when a patient has oral health concerns can help shed light on their emotional and physical well-being — and knowing what to do about it can change lives.

On WednesdaySeptember 7, at 1:00 p.m. ET, the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions hosted a webinar to discuss these key topics, with nearly 700 health professionals tuned in to the conversation.

The webinar featured two presenters: Renee W. Joskow, DDS, MPH, FAGD, FACD, senior dental advisor at HRSA, and Anita D. Glicken, MSW, program consultant and project leader at the National Interprofessional Initiative on Oral Health.

If you missed it — don’t fret! You can still take a look at the slides from the webinar or watch the full recording.
